Q How do I book a counselling session with you?

‍Simply complete my contact form and I’ll get back to you to arrange your free initial consultation. There’s no obligation to book further sessions.

Q How long is a counselling session?

Each session lasts 50 minutes.

Q Where do you offer counselling?

I offer face-to-face counselling in Spalding (Broadgate House) and in Long Sutton (Market House). I also offer online counselling by video call , by email, and also by telephone too.

Q How does online counselling work?

We’ll meet through Google Meet platform. I will send you a link by email and you just click on the link. It is very easy to use and you don’t require a google account to use it.

Q What about email counselling, I hav’nt heard about that before?

Email counselling is fairly new but is very affective. Basically you send me an email that is capped at 1000 words and I will return within 72 hours of your email.

Q How much does counselling with you cost?

Your initial consultation is totally free. For face-to-face in person the fee is £55 and £50 for online and telephone.

Q What is your cancellation policy?

Please give at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or rearrange. Late cancellations and missed appointments will normally be charged at the full session fee.

Q Is everything I say confidential?

Yes, with certain exceptions involving serious safety concerns, safeguarding responsibilities, or legal obligations. I will explain clearly before we begin.

Q What happens during my first session?

We’ll have a genuine conversation about what’s brought you to counselling and what you would like to achieve. Don’t worry if you’re not entirely sure what to say at this point, there is no pressure and no judgement at all.

Q How many counselling sessions will I need?

Everyone is different. Some people benefit from a few sessions, while others prefer longer-term support. There is no right or wrong here. Together we will review your progress and agree on what works best for you.

Q What makes your approach to counselling different?

I believe counselling should feel like a genuine conversation without jargon or complicated language. I’ll listen carefully to you to hear your story and will tailor your counselling to your needs. Everyone is unique and so too should be your counselling experience and so I make counselling flexible and adaptable to suit you.
